How to Request a Drug Addition
Head to Settings → Formulary in your Partner Dashboard and click the "Request Addition" button. A modal will pop up showing all the drugs currently available to add to your formulary - meaning they're not already part of your existing products, and are available for you to request for addition.
Browse or search by product name, or filter by health condition to find what you're looking for. Once you've found the right drug, check the box to select it.
Before you submit, you'll need to fill in two things for each drug you're requesting:
- Anticipated First Month Volume • your best estimate of how many units you expect to dispense in month one
- Projected Launch Date • when you want to start offering this drug. This needs to be at least two weeks out from the time you submit, so our team has time to get everything ready on our end.
What Happens After You Submit
Once you submit, our procurement team gets notified and will review your request within 48 hours. You don't need to do anything, just keep an eye out in case your account manager reaches out with any questions.
If your request is approved, the drug will automatically become available in your formulary on your target launch date. If it's denied, your partner advocate will follow up to talk through next steps.
Important Things to Keep in Mind
Give yourself enough runway. The two-week minimum lead time isn't just a formality; procurement needs that time to ensure inventory is stocked and everything is configured correctly. If you submit a request too close to when you want to launch, you may need to push your date.
Be thoughtful about your volume estimate. This number goes directly to our procurement team and helps them plan inventory. It doesn't need to be perfect, but a reasonable estimate goes a long way.
Pricing is set for you - but not set in stone. When you request a drug, you'll see the default price (that's what you'll pay once it's approved). If you have questions about pricing, reach out to your account manager, we are happy to work with you!
Not all products are visible. Some drugs (like controlled substances, brand name items, and compounds) are not listed. This does not mean we are not able to provide these items, they just have a bit more complexity around them.
