When creating an order from the Prescriptions tab, you have the option to adjust the quantity on order. Orders will be set up based on the quantity written on the Rx - for example, an Rx written for quantity 30 with no refills will set up automatically for package size 30ct. However, an Rx written for quantity 6 with 4 refills will be set up for a package size of 6ct, even though that Rx also has a total of 30 available units (6 for initial dispense and then 4 refills at 6ct each).
Currently, there is a bit of a miscommunication between this feature and the way these products are actually set up in our system. To adjust the quantity on an order, you will need to adjust the Package Size field to the 'base unit' - for almost all tablets and capsules this will 1 ct.
Once you set up the base unit Package Size, you can click into the Qty box and adjust to match the total you actually want the order to be created for.
You are then all set to click Submit Order🎉
