The API-driven integration offers the highest level of control over your order creation and customer experience. It allows you to process e-prescriptions without automatically generating an order. This setup is perfect for scenarios such as creating fill requests after payment has been completed or managing prescriptions with multiple refills without needing to submit a new prescription for each order.
How It Works: When Honeybee processes a new prescription, you’ll receive a webhook containing patient and prescription identifiers. This data helps you match the prescription with your records, whether from in-house systems or vendor e-prescribing software.
You can then submit orders based on your own schedule. As orders are updated, you'll receive additional webhooks with status updates on the order, shipping, or any actions required to continue processing. This streamlined approach reduces the need for support team interactions and speeds up issue resolution.
Custom Add-Ons: With this integration, you can also include add-on items like promotional products, over-the-counter items, or custom inserts in your orders. Anything that doesn’t require a prescription can be added using this method.
